Matt Faiello is an Associate Data Scientist at the University of Delaware’s Center for Research in Education and Social Policy, where he supports the Delaware Department of Education’s statewide analyses and the development of practical decision-support tools. He was a Cohort 15 Strategic Data Project Fellow placed at DDOE, where his capstone work focused on the Teacher Workforce Planning Tool. Matt earned his Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation Methodology from the University of Florida, where his work and study focused on the development and use of quantitative methods for observational data. He enjoys making education data easier to explore, understand, and use.
