About me
Erin Philip is the Director of Strategic Planning and Special Projects at Guilford County Schools. In this role, she leads strategic research, cross-functional initiatives, and executive-level planning to support district priorities. Her work focuses on strengthening key transitions, including the critical shift into ninth grade, and building systems for internal accountability and continuous improvement. Erin partners closely with senior leadership to translate data into actionable strategy, design and facilitate leadership development experiences, and drive organizational coherence.
Erin is a Cohort 15 alumna of the Strategic Data Project Fellowship. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin and a masters in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University. She is interested in bridging research and implementation, and she welcomes opportunities to connect with others on topics such as district strategy, leadership development, applied research, and building data-informed cultures in education systems.
